The FEREDOX® process uses special iron masses for chemical energy storage via a reversible redox reaction with the working agents hydrogen and water vapor.
This allows hydrogen to be efficiently produced and recovered, safely stored and converted into electricity and used for CCU applications.

As a process provider, Wolf Energetik markets process-specific know-how and patent licenses for various customer applications of the technology in the chemical and energy industries. At the development center in Freiberg, a pilot plant with digital twin infrastructure and other test facilities are available for investigations into process integration and the design of commercial plants.
